A group of local and interested friends have joined together to form the Horton Wreath Society. The goal of the group, which meets monthly, is to raise enough donated funds each year to purchase a live wreath for each gravesite at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. We appreciate your support and help, and hope to continue this honor in coming years.
We hope you will consider making a contribution toward the recognition of our veterans. Please make contributions to the Horton Wreath Society, and mail to Horton HWS, P.O. Box 6246, Virginia Beach, VA 23456-0246.
If donations are not sufficient to place a wreath on every gravesite, wreaths will be placed in garden sections on a rotational basis. Learn more at Horton Wreath Society's website.
Every year, the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk pays tribute to veterans with this project. Volunteers will gather on December 14, 2024 to place over 14,000 wreaths this year.

The administration office will be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. to assist veterans and their families with gravesite location, general information, and filling out the cemetery pre-application form.
