The brand-new Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center (JCVCC) is named after two distinguished war heroes. Air Force Colonel William A. Jones III of Norfolk was awarded the Medal of Honor for his service in Vietnam. Army Staff Sergeant Christopher F. Cabacoy of Virginia Beach was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service in Afghanistan. This center honors their service to the Nation and the Commonwealth.

JCVCC is nestled in an ideal location in the Princess Anne section of Virginia Beach on a 25-acre site adjacent to Nimmo Parkway (extended), West Neck Rd, and N. Landing Rd (Google Map).

This Veterans Care Center was built to serve our Veterans in need of Long-Term Care, Memory Care and Skilled Rehabilitation in Hampton Roads and throughout Virginia.  The pristine facility is state of the art with immaculate outside landscaping including a walking path surrounding multiple ponds and first-class amenities such as a spacious community center and rehabilitation gym.

JCVCC was designed using the household model with the concept of being a "city in itself."  The 128-bed facility is organized into communities (64 beds), with two neighborhoods (32 beds).  Each neighborhood includes two households (16 beds) with adjoined access to a courtyard.  The households feature all private rooms each with its own bathroom and walk in shower as well as a spacious dining room, kitchenette, and dayroom.  This person-centered approach creates a true sense of community and home, which supports providing our Veteran residents the opportunity to have as good or better quality of life than before they came to us.

  • "A Haven of Care and Comfort: Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center. I wholeheartedly recommend Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center for any family seeking exceptional, compassionate care for their loved ones. The staff's dedication, the range of services offered, and the overall atmosphere of the facility are truly commendable. We could not be happier with our decision to entrust my father's care to this wonderful center."

  • "If your loved one is eligible to be accepted into this facility I cannot express enough how it would be hands down the best care for them ANYWHERE in the area. I can assure you that you won't find a more state of the art facility, much less people who are so dedicated and care. I am thankful for each and every one of the staff at Jones & Cabacoy and beyond grateful my father is getting the care he deserves. Thank you all!"

  • "My dad was very fortunate to be the 7th resident at Jones & Cabacoy, moving in this past February. Their brand new state-of-the-art facility is amazing and unlike anything else we toured while searching for a place for dad. If that wasn’t enough, they have filled it with wonderful, caring and compassionate staff, all of whom have enriched my father’s life, both physically and mentally. There is no where we would rather see dad than at Jones & Cabacoy. And the best part is, he is happy and thankful to be there!"

  • "My father’s move to JCCVC has been an absolute blessing. Key features include the onsite pharmacy and state of the art therapy services. But the facilities greatest asset is the dedicated staff. They are both friendly and hardworking and it is clear they have been exceptionally trained and genuinely care about the residents. We especially like the paved walking trail and shaded rocking chairs that are perfect for family visits."

  • "Wonderful place. I am so very happy that my father is able to be there. The staff is so kind and attentive. Everyone there also speaks to me as I pass by. I can rest easy knowing he is in good hands. The meals are excellent. I've had lunch there with my father several times. The environment is very warm and inviting. Always lots of activities for the residents to participate in."
